Help on my build...suggestions, please?
so my first initial build was an i5-2500k and radeon 6870 combo for my multimedia course in college...I would be using photoshop,AutoCAD, and other multimedia stuff but just now i considered taking computer science and that said I wont be using CPU intensive programs and I've changed my build to 2500k/6870 combo to a 2400/560Ti or 6950 combo....So now my build is only just for gaming,web surfing,paper work,Movie watching, and very little photoshop...so is the 2400/560Ti or 6950 combo better for gaming? and skimping down on the CPU will have a great affect on gaming??
Should I also settle for a P67 mobo instead of a z68 mobo?

The i5 2400 + GTX 560 Ti is the better combo because the Ti is slightly better then it's AMD counterpart. It should perform great.
The only difference between the i5 2400 and i5 2500k is that the i5 2500k can be overclocked (this the "k" suffix). If you didn't plan on overclocking, they would have almost identical performance.
I would personally go with the Z68. It has more chipset features (Intel Smart Caching) , and it's the same price. However, if you go with the i5 2400, you should be going with the H67. Why? Because the main feature of the Z68 & P67 is overclocking. That can't be done with your 2400, so there's no reason to go with the P67 / Z68.

HD 6950's performance is about 10-15% more than HD 6870. So your second choice would be better. As for GTX 560 Ti, it has a very similar performance to HD 6950, but depend on the game it can be slower/faster.
The Z68 has more features than P67 ( it is combination of P67 and H67) so i'd go with z68 motherboards.
