Do you think Diane Jenkins is still alive on Y & R?
I think Diane is alive and may be working with Patty to torment the residents of Genoa City. She made a point of saying "Why should Victor have all the fun?" before sending a text message to all of the suspects the night she was "killed" asking them to meet her in the park.

I dont see how she is alive- Her original plan was to team up with Adam to frame Victor for murder (Adam's goal), and in return Diane would sneak off to some Tropical Island with Kyle after receiving a lot of money into an off-shore account. However, the plan went horribly awry, she wasn't planning on Nikki showing up and attacking her, Diane attempted to strangle her to death as a way to shut her up (she knew Nikki would spoil the plan to Victor). Diane was not anticipating that Nikki would bash Diane in the head with a rock in self defense, nor was she planning on having Deacon show up and finish her off and chuck her corpse in the creek. Also even IF (big if) Diane were alive she would not leave Kyle, nor would she let him think she was dead, Diane was a cold hearted snake but her one redeeming quality is that she loved her son.
No offence but your theory makes zero sense- Patty hated Diane, there is no way she would work under any circumstance with Diane, besides how would either lady benefit from this arrangement? Diane needed money, thats the main reason she wanted to frame Victor for murder, how would Patty be of any help to her? Besides Diane really wasn't malicous, she wouldnt delibertely go after people just for shi_ts and giggles. To be honest, I dont even understand why Patty is tormenting all these people- I get her obsession with Jack, and I could see her targeting Victor for revenge, but she had nothing against the remaining people. Patty also is a lot of things, but in her twisted way she does love Jack, I don't buy her trying to frame him for murder (which she did in the beginning). This whole s/l is reeked with desperation, and quite frankly not much of it makes any sense.

Nah I think she's really dead. Plus it's annoying enough as it is that this storyline has been dragged on for months & months now, it would be aggravating if all of a sudden, "Hey, GC, I'm alive!" & we had to endure this "murder" crap the entire time. Also, Patty HATED Diane. She'd push her off a cliff before helping her.

You never know with these soaps. But it looks like she really is dead, and the plan went very wrong. If she was going to come back, I think they would've had somebody charged with murder wrongly and locked up, but now it looks like self defence and it's gonna end with Patty going crazy after Jack.

Yes she could be. As of right now, the writers are writing it as if she is really dead. But they could just do what they've done many many many times before and somewhere down the line bring her back and explain it away somehow. Wouldn't surprise me at all.

I think she is really dead for good, Patty is doing all this herself, BUT may have help, just not sure who is helping her yet..because I know Adam goes to the shed where Patty is with that gun, so I know he knows something..=)

She could be...you just never know in soapland......she supposedly died August 1 who thought we would now be almost in February 2012 ........ six months of speculation...at this point I would like to do away with the writers....I wonder if they even knew who killed Diane (Diane?) or they made it up as they went along?

No, I am 99.9% certain she is dead. I say 99.9% because one can never be absolutely sure someone is dead. For 20 years we were lead to believe that Jill's son Phillip was dead and more recently Cane Ashby.

No she is not alive. She won't go that long without contacting Kyle, she loved him too much. Besides, her body was positively IDed. CBS isn't planning on bringing her back at all.
